Electrical Service, Repairs and Sign Work
Scott McKay Contracting Ltd. has a dedicated team that looks after our service work. We are fully insured, WCB covered and bondable. Our service vans are fully tooled and stocked. We also keep an inventory valued at approximately $100K at our warehouse. What this means to you is quicker completion of your project, whether it be a simple lighting repair or fixture replacement or a more complex job such as upgrading panels and electrical system renovations, hot tub installations, or data, telephone or television cabling.
We service all backlit signs and with our own equipment can reach heights of 53 feet. We stock a large selection of high output fluorescent lamps, lamp holders and sign ballasts. Recently we have partnered with a supplier of robust, American-designed LED Sign retrofit components and have retrofitted both single and double sided signs at various locations. LED retrofits can dramatically change a sign’s energy consumption, providing up to 75% savings and decreased service (60,000 hours maintained luminescence, compared to 8,000 hours for some high output fluorescents).
